What started out as a rainy morning didn’t dampen the spirits of everyone, as a group of people still turned out to participate in the fifth annual Bradford-Union Great Strides, a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that was held Sept. 28.

The 3-mile walk which began at Shands Starke Regional Medical Center. Thankfully, most of the rain had subsided by the 9 a.m. start.

Though an exact total was not known at the time, it was estimated that this year’s fundraiser will exceed $15,000.
