NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Union County Ordinance No. 2015-01, that the Board of County Commissioners of Union County, Florida, have declared the below described property as surplus property that shall be sold at public auction.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Union County, Florida will consider the enactment of a county ordinance in accordance with Article VIII, Section 1, of the Florida Constitution and Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.  The proposed county ordinance will be:

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 94-05, EXTENDING THE NINTH CENT GAS TAX ON MOTOR FUEL SOLD IN THE COUNTY PURSUANT TO SECTION 336.021, FLORIDA STATUTES; PROVIDING FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY VOTE OF THE UNION COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE ENACTMENT OF SAID TAX; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

There will be one public hearing held in the County Commissioners’ Chambers, Union County Courthouse, 55 West Main Street, Room 103, Lake Butler, Florida.  The public hearing will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 5:05 p.m., or as soon thereafter as can be heard.

Copies of this Notice and the proposed Ordinance are on file in the Board of County Commissioners Office of Union County.  The public may inspect or copy the Ordinance during regular business hours.  The Board of County Commissioners Office of Union County is located at 15 Northeast 1st Street; Lake Butler, Florida.

Interested parties may appear at the meeting, in person or through a representative, and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.  To appeal a Board decision made at this hearing, a record of the proceedings will be necessary. NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS VACATING, ABANDONING, AND CLOSING EXISTING PUBLIC STREETS, RIGHTS-OF-WAY, ALLEYWAYS, ROADS, HIGHWAYS OTHER PLACES USED FOR TRAVEL, OR OTHER LANDS DEDICATED FOR PUBLIC USE OR PURPOSES, OR ANY PORTIONS THEREOF TO RENOUNCE AND DISCLAIM ANY RIGHT OF THE COUNTY AND THE PUBLIC IN AND TO SAID LANDS.
