INVITATION TO BID LAND LEASE
CITY OF LAKE BUTLER, FLORIDA
Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Lake Butler, 200 SW 1st Street, Lake Butler, Florida Until 3:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, March 30th, 2017 for the lease of approximately Two Hundred Fifty (250) acres of land to be used exclusively as a Sod/Hay or Cattle Farm including a Fifteen (15) acre Coastal Bermuda Hay Field, located at 9422 SW SR 121, Lake Butler, Florida 32054.
The City of Lake Butler reserves the right to reject any or all bids. It is the intent of the City to award a contract based on the most responsible bidder with the highest bid submittal price. The lease shall become operational upon approval by the City Commission. The City reserves exclusive rights to reject any or all bids.
MANDATORY SITE INSPECTION, will be conducted on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017. All bidders shall meet at Lake Butler City Hall @ 10:00 a.m. The site inspection will be conducted by Mike Banks, Public Works Director. Boundaries will be established and all questions answered at that time. The City will consider bids “only” from bidders that attend the Mandatory Site Visit.
