The Suwannee River Water Management District announces a public meeting on January 24, 2017, 6:30 p.m. to which all persons are invited. The meeting will take place at the Lake Butler City Hall, Chamber Room, 200 SW 1st Street, Lake Butler, Florida 32054. GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Suwannee River Water Management District will present the Draft Minimum Lake Levels for Lake Butler and solicit public comments. The District’s Minimum Flows and Levels (MFLs) program is a means to ensure water availability for the present and future, and to prevent significant harm to the area’s natural resources. COMPETITIVE QUOTES,

TOWN OF RAIFORD, FLORIDA

Notice is hereby given that sealed quotes will be accepted by the Town of Raiford, Post Office Box 428, Raiford, Florida 32083 until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 26th, 2017 for the installation of a metal roof at the Town of Raiford Community Center located at 22848 NE 130th Terrace, Raiford, Florida.

The Town of Raiford reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.  It is the intent of the Town of Raiford to negotiate contract terms based on the lowest responsible quote.  The contract for construction shall be committed to upon the approval of the Town Council, during a scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 26th at 5:00 p.m.

NOTE:    A mandatory pre-site visit of the construction site will be conducted on January 19th, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the aforementioned Community Center site.  Mr. Charlie Redding and Mrs. Sheila Fink will be present to show the premises and answer all construction related questions.

Quotes shall contain proof of liability insurance, drug free work place, construction material list and anticipated completion date.

Permits shall be obtained by the awarded contractor.
