LEASE OF LAND

CITY OF LAKE BUTLER, FLORIDA

Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Lake Butler, 200 SW 1st Street, Lake Butler, Florida Until 2:00 p.m., local time, Friday, January 23rd, 2015 for the lease of approximately Two Hundred Fifty (250) acres of land to be used exclusively as a Sod or Hay Farm.

The City of Lake Butler reserves the right to reject any or all bids. It is the intent of the City to negotiate contract terms based on the ranking criteria to the highest responsible bidder with the highest successful ranking score.  The lease shall become operational upon approval by the City Commission.  The City reserves exclusive rights.

BIDDERS:  Interested parties shall contact the City of Lake Butler procurement office @ (386) 496-3401 or e-mail:  colbpurchase@gmail.com to request a detailed copy of the Bid Package to the attention of Cassa Neta Herndon, Procurement Director, Lake Butler City Hall.

A mandatory site inspection will be conducted on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015.  All bidders shall meet at Lake Butler City Hall @ 1:00 p.m.  The site inspection will be conducted by Mr. Willie Henderson.  Boundaries will be established and all questions answered at that time.
