COMPETITIVE QUOTES,

TOWN OF RAIFORD, FLORIDA

Notice is hereby given that sealed quotes will be accepted by the Town

of Raiford, Post Office Box 428, Raiford, Florida 32083 until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 09, 2017 for the installation of a metal roof at the Town of Raiford Community Center located on Highway SR-121. This quote is solely for the labor, permits and disposal of debris only.

All materials will be supplied by the Town of Raiford on an as needed basis.

The Town of Raiford reserves the right to reject any or all quotes. It is the intent of the Town of Raiford to negotiate contract terms based on the lowest responsible quote. The contract for construction shall be committed to upon the approval of the Town Council and Town Attorney, after the scheduled meeting on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.

NOTE:   A”mandatory pre-site visit of the construction site will be conducted on February 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the aforementioned Community Center site. Those who fail to attend this meeting will not be considered unless other arrangements have been made prior to the meeting with the council.

Quotes shall contain proof of liability insurance, drug free work place, disposal procedure and anticipated completion date.

Permits shall be obtained by the awarded contractor.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

HVAC SYSTEM

The Union County Board of County Commissioners are issuing a Request for Proposals for a HVAC System for the Union County Courthouse.  The Board would like the RFP to contain a separate maintenance contract to be submitted with the original proposal. The bids are due by February 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. If you have any questions, please call Dianne Hannon, Board Secretary at 386-496-4241. Union County Board of County Commissioners is an equal opportunity employer and gives Veterans Preference.
