The entire Bradford offense was outgained by Palatka running back Jatwan Honor and quarterback DéAbrie Smith in a 38-12 loss on Sept. 27 in Starke.

Bradford (1-3) pulled to within 10-6 late in the second quarter, but the Class 5A Panthers (3-2) scored three touchdowns to pull away. Honor rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns, while Smith had 100 yards and a touchdown.

The Tornadoes were held to less than 50 yards on the ground, with quarterback Jacob Luke the leading ground gainer with 26 yards.

Luke completed 7-of-11 passes for 124 yards. He threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Kenny Dinkins, who finished the game with six receptions for 124 yards.

Cody Bias scored Bradford’s first touchdown on a 1-yard plunge from the fullback spot.

Bradford’s defense came away with one turnover—an interception by Keaaris Ardley in his own end zone.
