Despite watching their opponent hit four home runs, the Bradford High School Tornadoes outlasted P.K. Yonge 13-9 for a win in the District 5-4A softball tournament on April 17 in Starke.
Lainie Rodgers hit a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth that would prove to be the eventual difference, putting Bradford up 10-5. Taylor Cruce added a two-run homer for good measure in the next at-bat.
