Clay County deputies are looking for a man they say stole $15,000 in cash, $600 in personal checks and a $30 Laredo’s Restaurant gift card from a Keystone Heights business.

According to a sheriff’s office report, the owner of Williams Automotive left the business to test drive a car just before 2 p.m. on April 23.  While the owner was away from the business, which is located at 7365 S.R. 21, a man drove a black BMW up to the building, walked into the office, grabbed a bank bag and left.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about the crime to call Detective Matt Magish at 904-264-6512.
