Keystone Heights took a 24-20 lead with 3:20 left in the game, but following the Indians’ score Newberry’s Monte Seabrook returned a kickoff for a touchdown and then the Panthers’ Malik Neal recovered a Keystone fumble on a kickoff return and ran it into the end zone.  The two consecutive kickoff plays gave the visiting Panthers 14 points within 22 seconds and carried Newberry to a 34-24 win over the Indians in Keystone Heights.

Earlier in the game, Seabrook also intercepted a Keystone pass in his own end zone and returned it 100 yards to the Indian 5-yard-line which led to another Panther touchdown.

Keystone’s Anton Noble rushed for 223 yards on 28 carries and scored a touchdown in the losing effort.
