NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

CITY OF KEYSTONE HEIGHTS

The Keystone Heights City Council will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on October 10th, 2017, at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as can be heard, to consider Ordinance 2017-570.

The PUBLIC HEARINGS will be held at City Hall, 555 South Lawrence Boulevard, Keystone Heights, FL 32656 in the Council Meeting Room.

AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE FINAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1st, 2016 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30th, 2017 AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance.

Please be advised that if a person decides to appeal any decision made to any matter considered at such hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceeding for such purpose. He or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, a person deciding to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at the meeting or at any subsequent meeting to which the Board has continued its deliberations is advised that such person will need a record of all proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record of all proceedings is made, which must include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

In accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, any person needing a special accommodation to participate in this matter should contact the City of Keystone Heights City Manager by mail at Post Office Box 420, Keystone Heights, Florida 32656, or by telephone at number (352) 473-4807, no later than five (5) days prior to the hearing or proceeding for which this notice has been given.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Bradford County Value Adjustment Board, in compliance with § 196.194, Fla. Stat., will conduct hearings in the County Commis-sion Chambers located in the North Annex of the Courthouse at 945 N. Temple Avenue, Starke, Florida, to hear objections to the valuation placed on real estate and tangible personal property, on the following date:
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2017
Beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Separate lists of applicants for exemption that have been wholly or partially approved by the Prop-erty appraiser and of applicants for exemptions that have been denied by the Property Appraiser are maintained for public viewing in the Property Appraiser’s Office, located in Suite A in the south annex of the Bradford County Courthouse, 945 N. Temple Ave-nue, Starke, Florida, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have any questions, please call the Property Apprais-er’s Office at (904) 966-6216. NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RES-OLUTION CLOSING AND ABAN-DONING ROADWAY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commis-sioners of Bradford County, Flor-ida, at a duly advertised public hearing held on Thursday, Sep-tember 21, 2017, at 6:30 P.M. and pursuant to the authority provided by Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, exercised its authority to close and abandon Bay Street between Blocks 7 and 8, together with all of Cherry Street and Oak Street, all lying and being in the Wrights & Scandrett Addition to the Town of Hampton, Florida by the adop-tion of Resolution 2017-28.
