Keystone Lake Region Business Association president Harold Gilstrap showed off the organization’s new logo during the group’s February meeting. He said the organization’s old symbol relied heavily on the City of Keystone Heights’ official logo.  The business group’s new brand features water, which Gilstrap said is an important part of the Lake Region’s economic vitality.  The emblem also displays the sun rising over the horizon, symbolizing the group’s forward-looking orientation.  The KLRBA’s new tagline is also prominent: “Means Business.”

In other news from the Keystone Lake Region Business Association’s February meeting, the group awarded Keystone Heights Animal Hospital with its first Christmas in Keystone award. The outdoor decorating contest was based on the business group’s Scarecrow Strut and encouraged organizations to celebrate the holiday season with yuletide displays.
