Keystone Heights’ defense set up a first-half score and accounted for two scores in the second half of a 23-0 win over Bradford in a junior varsity football game on Sept. 5 in Starke.

Dalen Brown’s interception set up the Indians’ first touchdown, which occurred late in the second quarter, while Austin Hogg returned a third-quarter interception for a score to put the Indians up 13-0.

Three Keystone players rushed for more than 30 yards each—Brown, Hogg and Steve Beverly—but it was Terry Giles who rushed for the team’s third touchdown.

The Indians capped the scoring when Giles sacked Bradford quarterback Chance Oody for a safety.

Oody was sacked five times, but did complete five passes for approximately 70 yards, 34 of which were on a first-quarter reception by Johnny Hernandez.
