Clay deputies looking for Middleburg man

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 39-year-old Middleburg man, wanted for lewd or lascivious battery on a victim between 12 and 16 years of age.

Larry Wayne Clark is 6’3” and weighs 173 pounds.

The following is a summary of property crimes according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

Thefts:

On Dec. 23 a jacket was stolen from an unattended chair at Mikie’s Place on State Road 21 in Keystone Heights. A cell phone, check card, and ID’s were in the Jacket.

On Dec. 23 a credit card holder containing five credit cards was stolen from the counter at the Long Horn Steakhouse on County Road 220 on Fleming Island in Orange Park. A suspect had ordered takeout and abruptly cancelled the order and exited the restaurant.

On Dec. 24 a pick up truck’s tailgate was stolen from a pickup truck parked in the driveway at a residence on Spoonbill Trail  in Orange Park.

On Dec. 25 an ATV was stolen from a residence on Zibra Street  in Middleburg.

On Dec. 27 a wallet was stolen from a purse while a shopper was in The Orange Park Mall shopping.

On Dec. 27 a wallet was stolen from a purse at Dick’s Wings on Wells Road in Orange Park.

On Dec. 28 angle iron was stolen from a residence under construction on Southern Magnolia Lane in Middleburg.

On Dec. 28 mail was stolen from the mail box at a residence on Nature Walk Court in Middleburg. The mail was put into the mail box after the mailman had already delivered the mail; an hour later the mail box door was open and the mail was gone.

On Dec. 28 coca cola machines were broken into on different floors at a hotel on Park Avenue in Orange Park.

On Dec. 28 a cell phone was stolen from a purse at Crackers Bar and Grill on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park.

On Dec. 28 an unattended  backpack was stolen from the side of the front door at an apartment on County Road 220 in Middleburg.

On Dec. 29 a helmet was stolen from an unattended motorcycle parked at the Dollar General Store on County Road 218 in Middleburg.

On Dec. 30 a bicycle was stolen from the front porch at a residence on Bottomridge Drive in Orange Park.

 

Burglary to Structures:

On Dec. 23 money was stolen from a wallet on a bench in an unlocked travel trailer parked at residence on Bellamy Road in Green Cove Springs.

On Dec. 23 hand tools were stolen from a stand-up tool box in an garage with no garage doors at a residence Joe Johns Road in Middleburg.

On Dec. 23 an Xbox system was stolen from a residence on Cricket Road in Middleburg.

Entry was made by prying open a rear door.

On Dec. 25 jewelry was stolen from a residence on Vineland Circle on Fleming Island in Orange Park. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence.

On Dec. 26 the bathrooms at the playground under construction on Moody Avenue were broken into and yellow paint was poured on a bench. Entry was made by prying open the bathroom door.

On Dec. 30 a 55” television was stolen from a residence on Red Oak Circle East in Orange Park.

On Dec. 30 47” and 32” flat screen televisions were stolen from a residence on Dalby Court  in Middleburg. Entry was made by forcing open a rear door.

On Dec. 30 a laptop computer, a 60” LCD television, and a 37” LCD television were stolen from an apartment on Old Orange Park Road. Entry was made by forcing open a window next to the front door.

 

Burglary to Autos:

On Dec. 24 a lock box was stolen from a van parked in front of a residence on Pinto Road in Middleburg. Entry was made by shattering the rear window.

On Dec. 24 a 20” television, a Kindle Fire, and a DVD player were stolen from a vehicle park at a residence on Cherry Street in Penney Farms. Entry was made by breaking out the passenger side vent window.

On Dec. 26 a shot gun, re-curve bow, and money were stolen from a vehicle parked at an apartment on Knight Boxx Road in Orange Park. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

On Dec. 29 radar detector was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence on Bedrock Drive in Orange Park.

 

Criminal Mischief:

On Dec. 25 the glass door was smashed in on a small guest house in the back yard at a residence on Lazy Acres Road in Middleburg.

On Dec. 27 a mail box was broken off the pole at a residence on Dennis Avenue in Orange Park.

On Dec. 28 glass in the rear sliding glass door was shattered at a vacant residence on Evergreen Lane in Middleburg.

On Dec. 29 two tires were punctured on a truck parked in front of an apartment on Crossing Boulevard, in Orange Park.

On Dec. 30 the rear window was busted on a vehicle parked at a residence on Sungarden Road in Green Cove Springs.
