Bleacher Covers

Notice is hereby given that the City of Starke, Bradford County, Florida, is seeking licensed and qualified contractors to construct and install thirteen (13) lean-to type structures to cover the existing bleachers. The number and sizes of the structures are as follows: 6 – 12’x26’xl0’ covers, 2 – 12×18’x10’ covers, 2 – 12’x36’xl0’ covers, 2 – 12’x18’10 covers and 1 12’x54’x10’ covers. The lean to structures shall be 14 Ga. galvanized steel framing, and the roof metal a standard 29 Ga. commercial steel. The covers shall be large enough to cover the existing

slabs and be anchored to the ground.

The Edwards Road Ballfield is located at 930 W. Edwards Road, Starke, Florida.

To determine material and labor cost an on-site inspection must be done prior to submitting a proposal.

Bids must be received in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Sealed Bid, Project 2016-03 Edwards Road Bleacher Covers” and submitted as hard copies, one (1) original with five (5) copies, to the City Clerk, Starke City Hall located at 209 N. Thompson Street, Starke, Florida 32091. Bid will be accepted until Friday, October 16, 2015, at 10:00 AM. No bids will be accepted by electronic mail or facsimile. Upon the closing of the bid period all bids will be opened and reviewed at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 16, 2015.

Acceptable bids will be presented to the City Commission Meeting on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 7:00 PM.
